What exactly is the difference between breath therapy and Breath Coaching?
Optimizing breathing contributes immensely to holistic health and general well-being. To this end, breathing therapy and Breath Coaching have developed into two different but complementary approaches.
Respiratory therapy focuses on physical rehabilitation. Targeted breathing exercises support lung function, strengthen the respiratory center and improve breathing overall - often helpful for conditions such as asthma, COPD or after surgery. The aim is to stabilize breathing performance and promote physical health.
Breath Coaching also goes beyond the purely physical level. It combines breathing techniques with stress management, adaptation of breathing patterns and healthy lifestyle habits so that you breathe and live more consciously in the long term. This approach not only supports physical health, but also mental clarity, emotional balance and quality of life.
Both approaches emphasize the importance of correct breathing technique - whether in everyday life, during sport or when making music. A good breathing technique helps to optimally regulate the heartbeat, blood pressure, digestion and nervous system.
The difference lies in the approach: Breath Therapy focuses on physical improvements, while Breath Coaching integrates psychological and lifestyle aspects to develop sustainable breathing and health habits.

It is important to me that you take personal responsibility (also with regard to breathing), feel your limits and communicate them. As almost everyone has experienced trauma in some form, I offer a trauma-sensitive approach to both Breath Coaching and Breathwork , creating a safe and supportive environment for subconscious exploration and holistic healing. I work with you in a gentle and compassionate way to help you connect with your breath and body in a way that feels natural and empowering.
