Privacy policy

I, Claude Flaig, hereby confirm that I will comply with the following rules in accordance with the Data Protection Act and the Data Protection Ordinance.

Purpose

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform you, as my client, about my handling of your personal and sensitive data collected in my practice.

Personal data

Relevant data

Only data related to therapeutic treatment will be processed. Or that are relevant for information about any offers. This is exclusively data that I have recorded with your consent, that you have sent me or that can be found in publicly accessible directories (telephone directory, etc.). This may include general personal data (name, address, telephone number, etc.), information about your health/the course of your illness, diagnoses already made and, if applicable, other data that you have provided to me as a result of your treatment (patient files).

Storage location

This data is collected, stored and processed exclusively in your patient dossier or in the dossier required for administration, in particular in the app required for billing. All processing steps carried out on your data are traceable in these two storage locations.

If your data is physically collected and processed, it will be stored in a lockable room or cabinet that is not accessible to unauthorized third parties. Electronically collected data is stored securely (firewall, password, etc.).

Unless otherwise stipulated by cantonal or other legal regulations, your data collected by me will be deleted twenty years after your last consultation in my practice.

Passing on

I do not pass on your personal data to third parties, or only with your explicit consent. Exceptions to this are court orders or the enforcement of justified claims by the practice.

Communication

Written communication between me and you takes place via email (unencrypted) or Apple Messages, Whatsapp or Signal (encrypted).

As a current or former client, you can request a duplicate of all your data collected by me in a common electronic format at any time. Only physically existing data will be scanned for this purpose and sent to you as a PDF. As a rule, the data will be handed over to you free of charge and within a maximum of 30 days.

Forms

This website contains forms that can be used to contact us electronically or to register for events. If a user makes use of this option, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. Your consent is obtained for the processing of the data as part of the sending process. The information you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing the request and for possible follow-up questions.
Alternatively, you can contact us via the email address provided. In this case, the user's personal data transmitted with the email will be stored. The data will not be passed on to third parties in this context. The data is used exclusively for processing the conversation.

On this website you have the option of subscribing to a free newsletter. When you register for the newsletter, the data from the input screen (surname, first name, email address) will be transmitted to me. Your consent is obtained for the processing of the data as part of the registration process. We require a valid e-mail address for registration to be effective. We use the "double opt-in" procedure to check that a registration is actually made by the owner of an e-mail address. For this purpose, we log the subscription to the newsletter, the sending of a confirmation email and the receipt of the requested reply. No further data is collected, or only on a voluntary basis. The subscription to the newsletter can be canceled by the user concerned at any time. For this purpose, there is a corresponding unsubscribe link in every newsletter.

By subscribing to my newsletter, you also agree to certain actions being analyzed. The survey determines whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. The evaluations help me to better tailor the information and offers in my newsletter to the individual interests of the respective recipient.

Use of the website

SSL encryption

To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption methods (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Cookies

We may use cookies. Cookies - our own cookies (first-party cookies) as well as cookies from third parties whose services we use (third-party cookies) - are data that are stored in the browser. Such stored data need not be limited to traditional cookies in text form.

Cookies can be stored in the browser temporarily as "session cookies" or for a certain period of time as so-called permanent cookies. "Session cookies" are automatically deleted when the browser is closed. Permanent cookies have a specific storage period. In particular, cookies make it possible to recognize a browser the next time it visits our website and thus, for example, to measure the reach of our website. Cookies can be completely or partially deactivated and deleted at any time in the browser settings. Without cookies, our website may no longer be fully available. We actively request your express consent to the use of cookies - at least if and to the extent necessary.

Third party services

We use services from specialized third parties in order to be able to carry out our activities and operations in a permanent, user-friendly, secure and reliable manner. Among other things, we can use such services to embed functions and content in our website. In the case of such embedding, the services used record the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of users at least temporarily for technically compelling reasons.

For necessary security, statistical and technical purposes, third parties whose services we use may process data in connection with our activities and operations in aggregated, anonymized or pseudonymized form. This is, for example, performance or usage data in order to be able to offer the respective service.

Social Media

We are present on social media platforms and other online platforms in order to communicate with interested parties and provide information about our activities and operations. In connection with such platforms, personal data may also be processed outside Switzerland.

The general terms and conditions (GTC) and terms of use as well as data protection declarations and other provisions of the individual operators of such platforms also apply. In particular, these provisions provide information about the rights of data subjects directly vis-à-vis the respective platform, including, for example, the right to information.

Advertising

We use the option of displaying targeted advertising for our activities and operations on third parties such as social media platforms and search engines.

In particular, we would like to use such advertising to reach people who are already interested in our activities and operations or who might be interested in them (remarketing and targeting). For this purpose, we may transmit corresponding - possibly also personal - data to third parties who make such advertising possible. We can also determine whether our advertising is successful, i.e. in particular whether it leads to visits to our website (conversion tracking).

Third parties with whom we advertise and where you are logged in as a user may be able to assign the use of our website to your profile there.

Amendment of the data protection provisions

I reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
